Robert Downey Jr. Reveals He Wants To See What Robert Pattinson Does A The Batman

The Batman is easily my most anticipated movie of 2021, and I’m sure it’s many of yours’ as well. I’m really looking forward to seeing what Robert Pattinson does with the role of Batman in the movie.

It turns out I’m not the only one who’s excited to see this. Robert Downey Jr. is aswell.

Downey Jr. is basically the one who helped kickstart the current golden age of comic book movies we live in today.

He first played Tony Stark, a.k.a. Iron Man way back in 2008, and the Marvel Cinematic Universe has never looked back since.

So, there’s no better person to ask about a future comic book movie than Robert Downey Jr.

He appeared on Joe Rogan’s podcast recently, The Joe Rogan Experience, and was asked about the upcoming The Batman and whether he was looking forward to seeing what Robert Pattinson was going to do as Batman in the movie.

Here’s what he had to say about that:

I wanna see what Pattinson does. I like that guy.

A short, sweet and to the point answer. Robert Downey Jr., like the rest of us, is pretty excited to see what Robert Pattinson is going to do as Batman.

I cannot wait to see what the British actor does in the role, and he’s already been talking about the part.

It’s a part he’s been dying to play, ever since he was a kid, and the mere fact he agreed to star in the movie gives me faith that Matt Reeves is making something really special.

There aren’t many scripts and characters that would get Pattinson back in the blockbuster world, but it looks like Matt Reeves’ The Batman was it.
