The Batman Director Teases New Footage From Next Trailer

The Batman director, Matt Reeves, has teased some new footage involving Robert Pattinson’s Batman that will be in the next trailer.

This upcoming trailer will be revealed at this weekend’s DC FanDome event and I for one cannot wait to see it.

The last trailer we got for The Batman – and the only trailer – was released at last year’s DC FanDome.

Since then, the movie’s release date was pushed back a year – thanks Covid.

Anyway, better late than never and it really does look like this upcoming Batman movie is going to be well worth the wait.

Matt Reeves shared a rather breathtaking shot from The Batman’s upcoming trailer.

He shared this on his Twitter account and in this shot, we see Batman looking over a Gotham city skyline which is bathed in the early morning sunlight.

Are you ready for the next trailer for The Batman?

It’s actually quite a hopeful-looking shot – almost like Gotham is about to see the start of a new dawn.

This is very different to how we usually see Gotham – dark, grimey, depressing and often rainy.

I like this new-looking Gotham City – or at least, this new take on the city.

It brings to mind that famous line from The Dark Knight.

It’s the line when Harvey Dent says: “The night is darkest just before the dawn.”

I think this upcoming movie is going to be a new dawn for Batman as well.

What do you make of this shot from the upcoming The Batman trailer?

Do you like it as much as we do?
