Stranger Things Season 4: Jim Hopper Is Alive Confirms Netflix

Yes! It’s official. Stranger Things Season 4 will see Jim Hopper (played by David Habour) return.

This news has been confirmed by Netflix who sent me over press release in which they revealed this huge bit of news.

We weren’t sure whether Hoppe would be returning in Season 4 of Stranger Things and Habour’s been tight-lipped over it.

However, Netflix doesn’t seem to be so tight-lipped as the actor.

They wrote: “We’re excited to officially confirm that production on Stranger Things 4 is now underway – and even more excited to announce the return of Hopper!

“Although it’s not all good news for our ‘American’; he is imprisoned far from home in the snowy wasteland of Kamchatka, where he will face dangers both human…and other. Meanwhile, back in the states, a new horror is beginning to surface, something long-buried, something that connects everything….”

They added: “Season 4 is shaping up to be the biggest and most frightening season yet, and we cannot wait for everyone to see more. In the meantime — pray for the American.”

I really cannot wait to see how it all unfolds and to find out how Hopper survived.

The end of Stranger Things Season 3 seemed to indicate that Hopper was very much dead.

However, there was then something of a post-credits scene which took place in Russia.

During this scene, which took place in what looked like a top-secret Russian prison, guards could be heard talking about “The American”.

The season then ended with the guards feeding one of their other inmates to a new Demogorgon in a prison cell.

It was a pretty brilliant ending and it really had me eager to see what’s going on.

Are you glad to hear that Jim Hopper will be returning in Stranger Things Season 4 and that he’s still alive?
