Will Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker See Snoke Return In Some Form Or Another?

WARNING: Potential SPOILERS for Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker in this article.

Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker is just around the corner. It’s literally only days away from hitting our cinemas, and we’re now hearing rumours that Supreme Leader Snoke could turn up in the movie.

If you’ve watched Star Wars: The Last Jedi (and who hasn’t) then you’ll know that Snoke was killed in the movie, however, he might end up coming back in The Rise Of Skywalker if We Got This Covered’s sources are to be believed.

Snoke was killed by Kylo Ren (played by Adam Driver) in The Last Jedi, but We Got Covered’s sources claim that he’s not going to be returning in a flashback scene, but actually for real.

This, of course, wouldn’t be the first time that a Force user has survived being cut in half. Darth Maul was severed in two by Obi-Wan Kenobi in Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace.

However, Maul then returned in the animated Star Wars: Clone Wars TV show and became a big part of the Star Wars Rebels show. He was also seen at the end of Solo: A Star Wars Story.

Will Snoke pull a Darth Maul in Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker?

So, it wouldn’t be too outlandish for Snoke to return in The Rise Of Skywalker, but it would be a bit of a shock for Star Wars fans, and his death played a big part in the previous movie.

Snoke’s death was so unexpected that audiences across the world watched it in complete silence with their mouths open (at least, that’s how I watched the scene for the first time).

Supreme Leader Snoke was played by Andy Serkis in the previous Star Wars film, and there hasn’t be any news that he’s been seen on the set of Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker.

That said, they’re very good at keeping things secret when it comes to Star Wars.
