Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker is pretty close to coming out in cinemas. It’s so close we can taste it, and there are a whole load of new TV spots being released.
One of the most recent TV spots, called ‘Hold On’, shows a little bit more of the movie, including one scene in which Rey uses her Jedi mind powers over some rather simple Stormtroopers.
This, of course, isn’t the first time she’s done this in these new Star Wars movies, however, she’s definitely become very good at it over the years.
In the first movie, she succeeded in getting a Stormtrooper to release her from the chair that Kylo Ren had strapped her to, and it was then revealed that the person in the Stormtrooper suit was Daniel Craig.
Yep, 007 himself got to play a Stormtrooper. You can watch the new Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker TV spot below.

Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker will be the end of our new heroes journey, and it seems as though for Rey and Kylo Ren it’s going to bring them face-to-face with Palpatine.
J.J. Abrams, the film’s director, was discussing his movie recently with Uproxx, and he revealed that it was always his and Star Wars’ writer, Lawrence Kasdan’s plan to bring the Sith Lord back in the final movie of this new trilogy.
Here’s what he had to say on the matter:
You just look at what he talks about, who he is, how important he is, what the story is — strangely, his absence entirely from the third trilogy would be conspicuous. It would be very weird. That’s not to say there was a bible and we knew what happens at every step. But when Larry Kasdan and I worked on The Force Awakens, we didn’t do it in a vacuum. We very purposely looked at what came before. We chose to tell a story that touches upon specific things and themes and ideas that we’ve seen before, to begin a new story. But we examined all that came before to ask where does this feel like it’s going?
