Ryan Reynolds Reveals That Free Guy Is His Favourite Movie He’s Ever Made, Not Deadpool

The very first trailer for Ryan Reynolds’ upcoming movie, Free Guy, landed last weekend and it looks like a lot of fun.

The film tells the story of how an NPC (non-playable character) played by Reynolds realises he’s actually in a video game, and then I suppose that all hell breaks loose.

Reynolds will be starring in the movie alongside the likes of Killing Eve’s Jodie Comer, Thor: Ragnarok’s Taika Waititi and Stranger Things’ Joe Keery.

You might know Reynolds as the man who played Deadpool in the recent Deadpool movies, and you might love him in those movies.

It wouldn’t be surprising to learn that Reynolds’ favourite movies he’s ever made are the Deadpool films, yet that’s not the case.

Reynolds’ favourite movie he’s ever made is actually Free Guy, and he revealed this during the film’s panel at Comic-Con Experience (CCXP) in Brazil.

Free Guy is my favourite movie I’ve ever made, and that means a lot to me because I made Deadpool.

The fact that Reynolds said this might not be as surprising as you might first think since he is trying to sell his upcoming movie.

That said, he must hold a special place in his heart for Deadpool and Deadpool 2, since those movies really did a lot in making the actor a genuine Hollywood superstar.

Ryan Reynolds is now a household name, and that’s all down to the Deadpool films.

That said, it certainly looks like Free Guy will make a lot of money at the box office.

Free Guy is directed by Shawn Levy and will be hitting UK cinemas on July 1st, 2020.
