Ron Perlman Reveals He Still Hasn’t Given Up On Hellboy 3

Ron Perlman has revealed that he hasn’t given up hope on starring in a Hellboy 3 movie which he wants Guillermo Del Toro to direct.

Last year, I was forced to watch one of the worst movies I’ve seen in a long time.

That movie was the David Harbour Hellboy reboot.

Let’s not beat around the bush, that movie was terrible.

David Harbour then came about and claimed that it was all Guillermo Del Toro fans’ fault that the movie bombed.

Honestly, that wasn’t the problem. The problem was that the movie just wasn’t very good.

Yes, there was an element of nostalgia for the old Hellboy movies that came into it.

However, that was because the first two Del Toro Hellboy movies were genuinely good.

They were some of the best comic book movies ever made and featured an incredible performance from Ron Perlman as the titular character.

Perlman has since come out and claimed that he hasn’t lost hope for a Hellboy 3.

He revealed this during a recent interview with ComicBook.com.

“There’s always a little ember, that lives deep within me, that says maybe one day Guillermo will wake up and go, ‘You know what? F-ck, we need to finish this trilogy,'” he told ComicBook.com.

However, he did admit that there was a very slim chance of this movie ever being made.

“But, that’s where we were, one film away from finishing,” he added.

“But then, every time I see how busy he is and what he’s engaging himself in, it doesn’t seem like it’s realistic. It doesn’t seem like it’s ever going to happen, but that doesn’t prevent me from living in hope.”
