Netflix Leaks Resident Evil Series’ Plot Synopsis By Accident

It’s been revealed that Netflix accidentally leaked the plot synopsis to their upcoming original Resident Evil series and it sounds pretty good.

I’ve been looking forward for this upcoming Resident Evil series ever since I heard about it back in January.

We now know a bit more about the upcoming series.

A ResetERA user called Jawmuncher was the one who spotted the plot synopsis on Netflix’s Media Center.

This synopsis is no longer on the site.

However, you can use certain methods to see the description.

You can use something called the Wayback Machine.

This will allows you to view Resident Evil’s plot synopsis which gives a glimpse into what this series will be.

“The town of Clearfield, MD has long stood in the shadow of three seemingly unrelated behemoths – the Umbrella Corporation, the decommissioned Greenwood Asylum, and Washington, D.C. Today, twenty-six years after the discovery of the T-Virus, secrets held by the three will start to be revealed at the first signs of outbreak.”

It sounds like this Resident Evil series might take more inspiration from the video games rather than the movies.

That’s a good thing if you ask me. The video games are great especially Resident Evil 2 Remake and Resident Evil: Biohazard.

Back in January when Deadline reported the existence of this new series on Netflix.

They said it would, “explore the dark inner workings of the Umbrella Corporation and the new world order caused by the outbreak of the T-virus.”

There’s also a new video game coming out, Resident Evil 3: Nemesis Remake, on April 3, 2020.
