There’s Now A Nintendo Switch Shortage Due To The Coronavirus Pandemic

It’s been revealed that there is now a shortage of Nintendo Switch consoles due to the Coronavirus pandemic after demand increased and the company can’t fill the orders.

This news comes from ComicBook.com, who claim that people in the US have been able to order a new console.

According to the site, the lack of Switches online might be due to the shipping and manufacturing delays which have been caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

It sounds like Nintendo have just run out of units and online shops don’t have any stock left.

This might also be down to the popularity of Nintendo’s latest game, Animal Crossing: New Horizons which came out recently.

Unfortunately, the new Animal Crossing game is the perfect game for our current situation.

People just want to escape, and there’s no better escape than the world of Animal Crossing.

It’s also been revealed that the units that are being sold are selling for a much higher price than normal.

There are some units available, but they are selling for much higher than the standard price of $299.99.

This is a really unexpected development, but it does look like more and more people are turning to their Nintendo Switches for solace during this worrying time.

I myself have been playing The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening on my Switch Lite and I’ve been having a great time with it.

It really does help to just lose yourself in another world whilst things are turning a bit apocalyptic outside.

Hopefully, things will end up going back to normal sometime soon.

However, that moment might still be a few weeks or maybe months away.

In the meantime, count yourself lucky if you already have a Nintendo Switch or Switch Lite.

There are many people out there who weren’t’ able to get one.
