New TRON Reboot Reportedly In The Works At Disney

TRON is a bit of a strange one. When the movie first came out, it was a groundbreaking hit, however, it’s aged pretty badly over the years, and it spawned a pretty poor sequel in Tron: Legacy.

Tron: Legacy will forever be known as the film which had the terrible-looking CGI Jeff Bridges.

However, it sounds as though Disney’s going to have another crack at the TRON movie as it’s been revealed that the House of Mouse is looking at rebooting the franchise.

This news comes from We Got This Covered’s sources – make of that what you will – and they claim that Jared Leto is involved in this potential reboot.

What’s not clear is whether this new TRON movie will be released in cinemas or on their new streaming service, Disney Plus.

However, Disney is going to have to fix the issues with their streaming service before thinking of making any further projects.

Will there be a TRON movie on Dinsey Plus soon?

It was revealed recently that thousands of Disney Plus accounts were hacked and then put up for sale on the dark web.

This is terrible PR for the company, and also bad news for the over ten million people who have signed up to the service.

Disney Plus launched last week, and it launched with its new Star Wars TV show, The Mandalorian, which is proving to be a huge success.

The Jon Favreau-led TV show is set after the events of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi and before Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

The series follows a Mandalorian bounty hunter as he’s asked to take a job which leads him down a rather unexpected path.
