Some new footage from James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad has been revealed in HBO Max’s new 2021 preview promo. We got this video via JoBlo on YouTube, which you can check out below.
This upcoming The Suicide Squad movie which is coming from James Gunn is easily one of the 2021 movies I’m most excited to see. It was revealed a few months back that it would be one of the films coming to HBO Max, which Gunn wasn’t very happy about.
It was also revealed that James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad is going to be R-rated, which is exactly how it should be. We’ve got some new footage from the movie which showcases that fact, and you can check it out via the video below.

This new footage from the upcoming DC Comics film was in an HBO Max 2021 preview which also included footage from their other upcoming movies. There’s footage from the likes of Dune, Godzilla Vs Kong, Space Jam 2: A New Legacy, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It and Mortal Kombat to name but a few.
Interestingly enough, there is no new footage from Zack Snyder’s Justice League in this 2021 HBO Max 2021 preview video. I think that’s because the movie is getting its own promotional material. Yet, it’s still strange that the film wasn’t included in this preview video.
