A New Black Widow Trailer Has Landed And It Shows More Of Taskmaster

A new trailer for Black Widow has just dropped and this is a rather interesting one because it shows a bit more of the film’s villain, Taskmaster.

Taskmaster is one of Black Widow’s main foes in the comics, and they’re finally bringing the character into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

It’s been a while, but I’m so glad they’re doing it, finally. However, this Taskmaster looks rather different from the one we’ve come to know from the comics.

In the comics, Taskmaster wears a rather effective skeleton mask, and it’s pretty scary, to be honest. Very lifelike.

However, they’ve opted for a rather more realistic-looking mask in the Black Widow movie, which is fine, yet I would have liked to have seen something more similar to the comic books.

Taskmaster is wearing a black mask in Black Widow, yet there are skeletal features about the mask, to make sure we know it’s Taskmaster.

Another interesting aspect of this character in this new Black Widow trailer is the fact that Taskmaster seems to be fighting a lot like Captain America.

His main power is the ability to perfectly mimic anyone’s fighting style only much faster which makes it almost impossible to defeat him.

Since Black Widow’s already had issues whilst fighting Captain America, she’ll definitely be in for a tough time whilst battling Taskmaster.

The film will also feature the likes of Stranger Things’ David Harbour, Midsommar’s Florence Pugh and the Hollywood icon that is Rachel Weisz.

Habour will be playing Alexei Shostakov in the movie, who also goes by the name of Red Guardian (a kind of Russian version of Captain America, but just a bit older and heavier).

Pugh will be playing Yelena Belova, Natasha’s sister who also dons the codename Black Widow.

Then there’s Weisz who plays Melina Vostokoff, who also goes by the name Iron Maiden, and she seems to be the mother of this rather dysfunctional super spy family.
