Morbius’ First Trailer Is Here And It Features A Surprising Spider-Man: Homecoming Cameo

The very first trailer for Morbius which star Jared Leto as Dr. Michael Morbius is here, and you know what, it looks pretty good.

Leto plays the lead who’s a Nobel Prize-winning doctor, yet he has a debilitating rare blood disease and he’s frantically looking for a cure.

He’s not got much time left, and he becomes more and more desperate and ends up finding a potential cure, but it comes at a cost.

Morbius ends up being cured, sort of, but he inherits certain new abilities, which includes an unquenchable appetite for human blood.

He basically turns himself into a vampire and thus is born Morbius, the Living Vampire, who ends up becoming one of Spider-Man’s most well-known enemies in the comics.

However, the two of them do at times work together because Morbius isn’t all bad, and you can tell that’s the avenue they’re going to take in this movie thanks to the trailer.

Yet, this Morbius trailer has one last surprise in store for us as it reveals at the end that Michael Keaton’s Vulture from Spider-Man: Homecoming is in this movie, which is very exciting indeed.

He tells Morbius in the trailer: “Michael Morbius. Got tired of doing the whole good guy thing, huh? What’s up Doc?”

It’s a pretty good reveal and I love the fact they’re bringing the MCU Spider-Man characters into these Sony Pictures made Marvel movies.

It means that we’re probably going to get Tom Holland’s Spider-Man having to come face-to-face with the likes of Tom Hardy’s Venom and Jared Leto’s Morbius.

That’s something I would really like to see, and I’m pretty sure there are a lot of fans out there who feel the same way.
