Morbius’ First Trailer Release Date And Time Revealed

Morbius is going to be one of the most interesting movies in 2020. I really don’t know what to expect from this film, and we’ve now learnt when the film’s first trailer will be released.

The film is being directed Daniel Espinosa who’s working off a script by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless, and the film’s got a very interesting cast.

First off, we have Jared Leto as Morbius, and he’ll be joined by the likes of Adria Arjona as Martine Bancroft (Morbius’ financée), Matt Smith as Loxias Crown (Morbius’ friend who suffers from the same rare blood disease he does), Jared Harris as Morbius’s mentor and Tyrese Gibson as Simon Stroud: An FBI agent hunting Morbius.

This is a really good cast as far as I’m concerned and I’m pretty excited to see Morbius the Living Vampire be brought to the big screen.

It’s now been revealed that Morbius’ first trailer will be released on this coming Monday, January 13th, at 6AM PST, and the film also has an official release date now.

Morbius will be hitting cinemas in the US on July 31st, 2020. There’s no word yet on whether that will also be the film’s release date in the UK or not.

Here’s a brief overview of the film’s synopsis:

In Morbius, biochemist Michael Morbius tries to cure himself of a rare blood disease, but he inadvertently infects himself with a form of vampirism instead, finding himself both as a vampire and being chased by the authorities and his former ally.

Morbius is a very tragic character in the comics and the animated Spider-Man TV show.

He’s often portrayed as a villain, but he has joined forces with Spider-Man on multiple occasions.

It’ll be interesting to see how it all ties in with Venom and the Spider-Man movies and whether Sony Pictures will get to do their Spider-Man shared universe or not.

There are rumours that Tom Hardy could turn up as Eddie Brock/Venom in this movie, which would be fun.

At the moment, it’s looking unlikely that Tom Holland will be making a cameo as Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the first Morbius film.
