Michael Fassbender Reportedly Being Considered To Play Doctor Fate In Black Adam

What’s going to happen in the upcoming DC Comics movie, Black Adam? I can’t answer that question, but I can say that Michael Fassbender might be playing Doctor Fate in Black Adam, which would be pretty darn cool.

Fassbender is easily one of the best actors working in Hollywood today, but his films don’t tend to do as well as they should.

He was in the likes of the X-Men prequel movies and the Assassin’s Creed film, but they haven’t had the best press.

The thing is, Fassbender is always fantastic in the movies he stars in, but the movies themselves aren’t always very well directed.

He was brilliant as Magento, literally perfect in the role, however, the later X-Men films were pretty poor.

X-Men: First Class and X-Men: Days of Future Past were both pretty good, but then we got X-Men: Apocalypse and X-Men: Dark Phoenix, which were both pretty rubbish.

Could Michael Fassbender be the perfect person to play Doctor Fate in Black Adam?

However, Fassbender’s performance throughout all these recent X-Men movies is beyond reproach.

Anyway, we’re now hearing rumours (courtesy of We Got This Covered) that he might be in line to play Doctor Fate in the Dwayne Johnson-led Black Adam movie.

It would be really interesting to see him play the role, which is a pretty big deal in Black Adam circles, however, I do hope they don’t end up putting another helmet on him.

That said, if they do decide to do that, Fassbender’s got lot of experience acting in a helmet or mask (just watch all the X-Men movies and his incredible performance in Frank for examples of his great work whilst wearing a mask or helmet).
