Marvel Confirms That Moon Night Will Happen In The MCU’s Near Future

It seems as though Marvel’s Moon Knight will appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the very near future, although it’s not sure whether he’ll have his own movie or not.

Marvel Studios is now one of the biggest, if not the biggest, studios in Hollywood today, but it could have all be so very different.

Before Marvel made Iron Man they were in some dire straights, having to sell off their comic book properties to other studios for rock bottom dollar just to stay afloat.

That’s how the X-Men and The Fantastic Four ended up with 20th Century Fox and how Sony got Spider-Man. This meant that in order to start what is now the biggest movie franchise around, Marvel had to dig deeper into their comic book properties.

Before Iron Man was made, he was a B-list character, as was Captain America, which is crazy to think now.

Another one of those Marvel characters was Moon Knight, yet he never got a big screen makeover, yet it looks like the wait might soon be coming to an end.

According to Screen Rant, Moon Knight will be featuring in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) very soon, most possibly in Marvel’s Phase Four of movies.

It’s not clear whether he’ll get his own movie. What’s more likely is that he’ll be introduced in another film and will probably get a standalone movie in Phase Five.

There was talk that Moon Knight get his own Netflix series, yet with Disney + on the horizon, it’s more likely that he could show up in one of the many Marvel TV shows they’re planning.

What is certain is that Marvel’s President, Kevin Feige, is planning to bring him to the big screen, but it’s just not certain when that’ll happen.

“Yes,” Feige replied when Screen Rant asked him whether the character will be part of the MCU in the near future.

He continued: “Does that mean five years from now, 10 years from now, 15 years from now? There are stacks of character cards that we have in our, in our development offices, which we look at. Which we pull for him, which we discussed.”
