Mark Ruffalo Accidentally Live-Streamed Part Of Thor: Ragnarok On Instagram

Around 2,500 got to watch a bit of Thor: Ragnarok on Mark Ruffalo’s Instagram feed who live-streamed the movie by mistake. Nice one Mark!

Mark Ruffalo is very active and hilarious on social media. His Twitter and Instagram accounts are always worth keeping an eye on. However, Ruffalo fans were treated to something a little bit more special on Tuesday night when the movie star accidentally live-streamed part of Thor: Ragnarok on Instagram. According to The Hollywood Reporter, roughly 2,500 people were on the stream – which was audio only- before Ruffalo realised his mistake and ended the broadcast.

So yes, they only got to hear a section of the film, yet the story in itself is rather hilarious. Ruffalo was watching Thor: Ragnarok at the film’s world premiere in LA and he just forgot to turn off his live-stream that he was doing before the movie started. This goes far beyond a butt dial because (hopefully) your call isn’t going out to over 2,500 people worldwide and you’re not transmitting closely guarded Marvel Studios secret to countless people.

Marvel is very careful to make sure that all audience members have turned off their phones before the film starts. They’re really strict on this policy, and for good reason. They don’t want the film to be spoiled for all the MCU fans that aren’t lucky enough to attend the premiere screening. It’s just ironic that it should be one of Marvel’s own employees, one of their stars in fact, who should turn out to be the rebel who doesn’t switch off his phone and lets company secrets escape.

However, instead of being berated, Ruffalo should be applauded for his openness with his fans. He’s wonderful on social media and is someone that many fans and aspiring actors can look up to. His story is quite incredible and he’s also hands down the best Hulk ever.

Thor: Ragnarok will be out in UK cinemas on October 27th. Have you purchased your tickets yet? Let us know in the comments section below.
