Mark Hamill Won’t Be In Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 Says James Gunn

Mark Hamill should be in everything, and he should definitely be in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

There I said it. Mark Hamill’s not in enough stuff, and I think he’d be an excellent addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

There were rumours that Mark was going to have a part in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 because he’s been seen with director/writer James Gunn.

But, according to Gunn that’s not true. He revealed recently on his Instagram account that he and Hamill are very close friends and that there had never been plans to bring him into Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

This is both upsetting and slightly infuriating because Hamill would be so good in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Here’s what Gunn said when someone on Instagram asked him whether Hamill was still in talks to show up in the movie.

Sounds like Mark Hamill won’t be in James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3

Mark is my friend. We have never had these talks you speak of.

However, this doesn’t mean that Mark and James couldn’t have a discussion about Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 over a coffee and then it could happen.

I’m pretty sure that Gunn’s hard at work on The Suicide Squad and that the third Guardians movie is at the back of his mind at the moment.

He has already written the script for the third movie, so he’s got that part out of the way, which is nice.

Writing the film is often the hardest part.

It does look like Gunn’s in a much better place after having been fired and then rehired for the Guardians movie.

The whole story was ridiculous. Someone went back in his Twitter history and resurfaced some rather untasteful tweet Gunn had posted in the past and brought them back into the public eye.

However, the thing was that Gunn had already apologised for what he had tweeted in the past and the vast majority of them had been deleted.

It seems as though Gunn’s come out much better since though, having bagged himself The Suicide Squad gig and got back his Guardians movie.
