Lucifer Season 6 Will Not See Tom Ellis Be Replaced By Ian Somerhalder

There have been rumours that Ian Somerhalder could end up replacing Tom Ellis as Lucifer in Season 6. This rumour is untrue.

This rumour spread around the Internet like wildfire.

Many outlets ran it as fact, and it was unsubstantiated gossip and not confirmed at all.

It’s true that Warner Bros. TV and Tom Ellis have been struggling to get a deal done for Lucifer Season 6.

However, the reports are suggesting that they are close to an agreement.

Some outlets have even claimed that a contract has been signed meaning Ellis can play Lucifer in a sixth season.

However, Newsweek has revealed that this rumour of Ellis being replaced by The Vampire Diaries star, Ian Somerhalder is false.

They claim that the rumour was started by fans of Somerhalder who were a bit upset with Netflix for cancelling his other vampires show.

Somerhalder was the lead of a new vampires show on Netflix called V Wars.

It was cancelled after one season.

I haven’t watched the show yet, but it didn’t look too good.

Anyway, Somerhalder is American and I just don’t trust he’d be able to do a good job with the British accent.

Also, Ellis is perfect as Lucifer. Netflix and Warner Bros. Television must know they can’t do another season without him.
