Lucifer Season 6 Might Be In The Works But Tom Ellis’ Silence Suggests Otherwise

Lucifer Season 6 might be happening at Netflix, however, the fact that its star, Tom Ellis, has remained silent on the whole issue speaks volumes.

There was talk that Netflix is considering renewing Lucifer for another season.

This comes after they’ve been building Lucifer Season 5 up as being the show’s very last season ever.

This, of course, got fans all rilled up because they want to know for sure whether this will be the end or not.

Honestly, I think that’s fair enough. I think the fans should know what’s going on.

It was the fans who managed to get the show back on the air after all.

One thing that’s been very telling about this whole thing is Tom Ellis’ silence.

Tom Ellis has been very quiet about Lucifer Season 6

Ever since the news came out that Netflix is thinking of renewing Lucifer for another season, Ellis has been very quiet on the matter.

This is off because he’s usually very vocal about all things Lucifer-related.

However, when this news broke, there was nothing from the man who plays the Devil on the show.

Not a peep. Nada. Why is this? And then I started thinking, there are two possible reasons why Ellis might be remaining silent on this one.

Either, the rumours of a Lucifer Season 6 are untrue and he doesn’t want to stoke the fires by saying anything.

Or, the rumours are true and he wants to stay silent until Netflix makes the announcement.

I would hope that it would be the latter, however, something’s telling me Ellis has been keeping quiet because it’s not going to happen.

It seems like Lucifer Season 6 isn’t going to happen

Maybe I’m just being cynical here, but the whole cast and crew have been making such a big deal out of Lucifer Season 5 being the show’s last.

I just can’t see them all turning around and saying something along the lines of, “fooled ya! Season 6 is coming soon!”

Ellis has said nothing on social media about a possible Lucifer Season 6.

His last post on Instagram was about Lucifer Season 5 and rainbows.

Nothing about Lucifer Season 6 in that post.

This all leads me to the conclusion that Lucifer Season 6 might not happen.

If it were a case of saving or extending the show, I would have thought that Ellis would have voiced his support of it on social media.

However, the silence speaks for itself, at least, that’s what I think.

What’s next for Tom Ellis?

As for Tom himself, it does look like life after Lucifer might be quite good.

There have already been calls for him to be cast as the next James Bond, which would be a funny bit of casting if you ask me.

I’m not totally sure whether Ellis is the right man to play Bond, but I wouldn’t be against the casting if it happens.

However, he hasn’t been officially cast in another movie or TV show beyond Lucifer Season 5.

It would be interesting to see what he ends up doing post-Lucifer.

What do you make of this? Are you worried that Tom Ellis hasn’t said anything about Lucifer Season 6 yet?
