Lucifer Season 5 Production Has Been Put On Hold Due To Coronavirus Fears

Production on Lucifer Season 5 has been put on hold due to the current Coronavirus situation which is stopping filming on almost all TV shows.

It was only a matter of time before Netflix revealed this bit of news.

However, it wasn’t announced by Netflix themselves.

The news that production on Lucifer Season 5 is being shut down came from TV Line.

They also reported that production on shows such as Stranger Things Season 4, The Flash and Supergirl has also been put on hold.

This Coronavirus outbreak has basically put a stop to production on all movies and TV shows.

Movies such as No Time To Die, A Quiet Place Part 2 and Fast and Furious 9 have been pushed back due to the pandemic.

This is unprecedented and it’s starting to get very worrying indeed.

At the moment, many countries in the world have instigated a lockdown in order to prevent the spread of the virus.

China did it and Italy is currently under lockdown.

It’s safe to assume that other countries will follow suit. It’s just a matter of time.

This means that you can basically write-off most of 2020 as far as movies and TV shows are concerned.

Hopefully, the Coronavirus pandemic will be brought to an end, but until that moment comes we’re going to have to push pause on most things.

Yep, that means no more trips to the cinema, no more sporting events, no more concerts, no more big gatherings, and no more parties.

There is one silver lining, it has been all but confirmed that Lucifer Season 6 will be happening which means that Season 5 won’t be the show’s last.

That’s good news, right? At least, I think it is.
