Will Lucifer Season 5 See Chloe And The Devil Have Their ‘Happily-Ever-After’ Ending?

Lucifer Season 5 is just around the corner, and I’ve been wondering whether Lucifer (played by Tom Ellis) and Chloe Decker (Lauren German) will end up getting their ‘happily-ever-after’ ending.

There’s been a lot of talk about how Lucifer Season 5’s ending will play out, and many people have their own ideas on how the show will conclude.

I wrote an article about why I thought Lucifer might ask his father to make him mortal so that he could spend the rest of his days living on Earth with Chloe.

However, there were a few people who didn’t agree with my theory and some of them even floated the idea that they might not end up together at all.

This got me thinking about some of the things the show’s stars have said about Lucifer’s ending.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly (via The Daily Express), Aimme Garcia revealed she “may have gotten a little bit emotional” at the season finale plot.

She continued: “The first thing I did was touch my heart.

“I’m sure there will be a lot of Kleenexes especially because anyone who is a hopeless romantic out there.

Will Lucifer and Chloe’s ending be an unexpected one?

“We have a Beauty and the Beast love story going on and ultimately it’s about love.”

Aimee then warned Lucifer fans that we are, “are gonna cry your little eyes out! And we’re gonna rip out your hearts! But we’re gonna make you laugh and it’ll be fun.”

I’m not too sure about the “rip out your hearts” bit. That sounds a bit extreme, but it does sound like Lucifer’s very finale episode will be a moment of television history.

It’s that bit where Garcia talks about crying that has me wondering whether Lucifer and Chloe might not end up being together at the end of Season 5.

The whole show’s been gearing up towards Lucifer and Chloe being together, but is that really what they want, and is it really what we, the fans want?

I’m sure many of you will be screaming out, “yes! Yes, it is!” right now, and you’d be right. We do all want to see that happen.

However, could they end up having a different ending, but not on Earth?

Could Lucifer and Chloe’s ‘happily-ever-after’ actually not be on Earth, but in Hell?

Could they end up ruling over the Underworld together? That would be emotional because it would mean Chloe would have to say goodbye to her family, although I’m pretty sure she’d bring Trixie with her.

However, it would also be an interesting and unexpected conclusion to the show.

What do you think? Will Lucifer and Chloe end up getting their ‘happily-ever-after’ on Earth, or will they go to Hell together?
