Lucasfilm Reportedly Will Replace Ray Park As Darth Maul Following Instagram Incident

It’s being reported that Lucasfilm is going to replace Ray Park as Darth Maul in their future Star Wars projects after his Instagram incident.

There was a rather worrying incident with Ray Park’s Instagram account last week.

It seemed as though he posted some explicit content on there.

Some fans were hoping that his account might have been hacked, but it sounds as if Disney and Lucasfilm have found out otherwise.

There had been a lot of talk of Darth Maul appearing in quite a few future Star Wars project.

However, it sounds like these might happen without Park.

According to LRM Online, Lucasfilm is going to be replacing Ray Park as Darth Maul moving forward after the incident.

It looks like Ray Park will be replaced as Darth Maul

So, it seems as though, as far as LRM Online’s sources are concerned, Disney and Lucasfilm, “have decided to move forward with Darth Maul without Ray Park.”

This is such a huge shame because Park is Darth Maul and has really made the role his own over the years.

He appeared in Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace first and has since turned up in the animated shows as well as a small cameo role in Solo: A Star Wars Story.

It seems as though another actor will be taking up the Darth Maul mantle moving forward.
