Kevin Feige Hints That Third Spider-Man Movie Will End Peter Parker’s Time In The MCU

So, Spider-Man is now back in the Marvel Cinematic Universe after it looked like Sony and Marvel had decided to go their separate ways, leaving us – the children – worrying about what happened with Mummy and Daddy and why they were fighting.

Turns out it was all down to money, and things have been sorted out now – thank God. However, it looks like Kevin Feige (Marvel’s big boss and President) is already thinking of ways they can move on from Tom Holland’s version of the character.

Holland will star in a third movie, and there’s the possibility of him turning up in a subsequent Marvel Cinematic Universe movie, but the future isn’t so sure beyond that for his version of the wallcrawler.

Feige is now in charge of the third Spidey movie and according to The Hollywood Reporter, these upcoming films could end up wrapping up his story arc.

“Though both sides are hinting the pact could be extended again. Feige seems to be plotting an endgame that will wrap up Peter Parker’s story in the MCU and could see the character cross over into Sony’s own budding universe of characters,” THR wrote.

This does seem all rather sudden, however, it does mean that we’ll get a proper ending for the character, and it paves the way for the likes of Miles Morales to step into the web-slinger’s tight-fitting lycra costume in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

I for one would love to see Miles be brought into the MCU, and after the huge success of Spider-Man: Into The Spiderverse, I’m sure quite a few other people would like to see a live-action version.

I’ve been a huge fan of these recent Spider-Man movies. Spider-Man: Homecoming, I believe, was one of the very best Spider-Man films ever made – second only to Spider-Man 2 – and I think that Spider-Man: Far From Home was a perfectly good sequel.

I’m really excited to see what they do next with the character and how they plan on wrapping up Peter’s story arc.

I’m also really glad Marvel and Sony Pictures managed to sort things since Spider-Man was becoming a key part of the MCU post-Avengers: Endgame.
