Jake Gyllenhaal’s Secret Scene In Spider-Man: Far From Home Revealed

Jake Gyllenhaal has revealed his secret scene which everybody missed as Quentin Beck in Spider-Man: Far From Home via a post on Instagram.

Spider-Man: Far From Home is proving to be a pretty big hit this year, and one of the reasons behind the film’s success could be put down to Jake Gyllenhaal’s involvement in the movie.

Jake plays Quentin Beck, a.k.a. Mysterio, in the movie and Spider-Man fans have been waiting a long time to see the villain on the big screen.

Mysterio was initially going to feature briefly in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 4, but that film got canned, and we’ve had to wait to get to see the gold fish-bowl-wearing baddie on the silver screen.

That said, I couldn’t think of anybody better to play the role than Jake, and they did a really interesting take on the character. A lot of it is down to Gyllenhaal and his wonderful performance.

However, those who follow the actor on Instagram would have seen a post recently in which Gyllenhaal was dressed up as a “sexy dad” as he put it on the set of Far From Home.

It has since been revealed that this look was for a scene before Mysterio actually turned up on-screen. It seems as though Mysterio was keeping an eye on Tom Holland’s Peter Parker before they officially met.

Jake’s caption to his post read: “This isn’t just a sexy dad outfit. It’s my favourite look from Spider-Man: FFH 👀 closer🧢 #wheresbeck.”

Fans then went to see the film again in cinemas and they spotted the scene in question. Quentin Beck’s secret appearance took place when Peter was in Venice looking to buy a Black Dahlia necklace for M.J (played by Zendaya).

It just adds another layer to Beck’s character as someone who explores all angles and makes sure he has everything covered.
