Huawei’s New Ultralight MateBook D Laptops Will Be Available To Buy In The UK This February

It’s been revealed that Huawei has just released its new line of Ultralight laptops, the Huawei MateBook D series.

These new laptops come in two sizes. There’s a 14 inch and 15.6-inch model.

Both of these laptops promise Huawei’s signature eye to detail and the design of both is reminiscent of Huawei’s previous laptop, the MateBook X Pro.

I’ve been a MateBook Pro X user for over a year now, and I can tell you that Huawei make very good laptops.

Huawei says that these new MateBook D laptops, “Introduce a revolutionary cross-platform experience that allows users to seamlessly work with multiple devices through a single pane of glass – bringing to life the HUAWEI ecosystem.”

It seems as though Huawei is really starting to focus on making products which can be used seamlessly together.

These new laptops work perfectly with Huawei’s smartphones. There’s a little NFC sticker on the MateBook D series which allows you to access your phone’s photos and documents.

You can even start to use your phone via your computer’s screen. It’s pretty next-level stuff and it’s all available on these new MateBook D laptops.

Huawei calls this neat function OneHop, and I know it’ll come in handy for many of you.

Their new MateBook D laptops also look incredible, with a virtually ‘bezeless’ display and they’re incredibly thin.

The screens on both these laptops are very high-resolution and they’ll be perfect for watching HD movies and TV shows on Netflix, or any other streaming platform.

And these new Huawei laptops are pretty powerful.

Powering the MateBook D Series AMD Edition is a 12nm AMD Ryzen™ 5 3500U mobile processor which means these laptops can pack a punch.

All of this comes at a very affordable price. The Huawei MateBook D 14 inch in Space Grey with 512GB of storage will cost £649.99.  The Huawei MateBook D 15 in Space Grey with 256GB of storage will cost £599.99.

These laptops will be available to purchase on February 21 from selected retailers.

However, if you pre-order one of these laptops, then you’ll also receive a free pair of Freebuds 3. Not a bad deal at all.
