Harrison Ford Reveals The Crew Hated Working On Star Wars: A New Hope

Harrison Ford revealed during a recent interview with Buzzfeed that the crew in the UK hated working on Star Wars: A New Hope.

Honestly, I really say that I’m surprised by this ‘revelation’.

Imagine at the time Star Wars: A New Hope was made. It must have looked totally insane for most people involved in making movies at the time.

It was so ahead of its time and in many ways broke the mould of how films were made at the time.

I would also argue that Star Wars: A New Hope changed the course of cinema forever.

The complete and utter disdain that our very experienced British crew felt for what we were doing. They couldn’t figure it out. A guy running around in a dog suit, a princess, some guys in tight pants. They couldn’t figure out what we were doing, so they laughed at us constantly. Thought we were ridiculous, and we were. But we made a movie that people really enjoyed seeing.

Given how stupid the cast must have looked and the sheer hokeyness of the script, it’s no wonder the British crew thought it was all madness.
