It seems as though Donnie Yen as just confirmed via Instagram that he’s prepping to star in an upcoming Sleeping Dogs movie.
Donnie Yen is one of the best action movie stars around at the moment.
If you haven’t seen any of his work, then you’re definitely missing out.
Yen has starred in four Ip Man movies, and they are pretty awesome.
However, he also starred in Hollywood blockbusters such as Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
He’s definitely one of the best on-screen material artists.
His fight scenes are the stuff of legend and it was announced back in 2017 that he would be starring in a Sleeping Dogs movie.
He seemed to reveal that he’s prepping for the movie via his Instagram account.

Sleeping Dogs in a video game from Square Enix.
The story follows an undercover Chinese-American police officer called Shen Wei.
He’s given an impossible assignment to infiltrate the Sun On Yee Triad organisation.
Yen is going to be playing Shen in the movie, and he’s the perfect person to play the role.
Hopefully, this movie will end up being better than the other movie adaptations of Square Enix video games.
The Hitman movies have not been good, yet, in Donnie Yen they have an excellent lead.
