Disney Plus’ The Mandalorian’s New Trailer Is Here And It’s Good

The Mandalorian is coming to Disney Plus on November 12th, so it’s really not long to wait now until we finally get to see what this new Star Wars series is really all about, and the second trailer has just been released.

This new Star Wars TV show is set five years after the events of Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi and follows a Mandalorian bounty hunter played by the always wonderful Pedro Pascal as he explores beyond the reaches of the New Republic.

The series will be on Disney Plus as soon as their new streaming service launches in the US and Canada, which is on November 12th.

However, it’s still not clear when people over here in the UK will be able to watch the new Star Wars series.

This new trailer shows us a little bit more than the first. It gives us some more of Werner Herzog’s character, but it’s not yet known who he’ll be playing in the series.

When will the Mandalorian come to the UK?

The show is set to star Pedro Pascal as the lead and Gina Carano as Cara Dune, a former Rebel Shock Trooper-turned-mercenary who fought in the civil war for the Rebel Alliance.

Other names in The Mandalorian include the likes of Nick Nolte, Giancarlo Esposito, Emily Swallow, Carl Weathers, Bill Burr, Omid Abtahi, Taika Waititi, and, of course, Werner Herzog.

It really is a star-studded cast. Taika Waititi will be directing the very last episode of the series, as well as voicing the droid, IG-11.

Other directors include Dave Filoni, Rick Famuyiwa, Deborah Chow and Bryce Dallas Howard. These are all interesting choices to direct, and I really cannot wait to see what this series has to offer.

Jon Favreau is The Mandalorian’s creator and he’s down as having written the first episode of the series, yet he won’t be directing any of the episodes.

The episodes will be released weekly on Fridays. Are you looking forward to watching The Mandalorian? Let us know in the comments below.
