Disney Plus App Will Be Available To Sky Customers In The UK And Ireland

It’s been revealed that the Disney Plus app will be available to Sky customers in the UK and Ireland but that doesn’t mean they won’t have to pay for it.

It was revealed a while back that Disney Plus will be coming to the UK on March 24th.

The release date of Disney’s new streaming service in the UK and the rest of Europe was pushed for once.

With this whole Coronavirus outbreak, I’ve just been writing about movies being pushed back.

Honestly, thank God for Disney Plus and Netflix still giving us access to content.

Imagine having to self-quarantine with no Netflix, Amazon Prime or Disney Plus. That would be terrible.

Anyway, it’s now been reported via Deadline that Disney and Sky have struck a new deal.

This deal means that Sky customers in the UK and Ireland will be able to have access to the Disney Plus app via their Sky Q boxes.

This means when you scroll down to apps on your Sky TV guide, you’ll see the Disney Plus app next to Netflix, YouTube and BBC iPlayer’s.

Again, this doesn’t mean that people who have access to Sky won’t have to pay a subscription to Disney Plus.

They’ll have to pay, just like the rest of us. It’ll just make the whole thing more convenient.

Are you looking forward to Disney Plus finally arriving here in the UK and Ireland?
