A Dark Teenage Ninja Mutant Turtles TV Series Could Be In The Works

It’s been revealed that there might be a dark version of the Teenage Ninja Mutant Turtles TV series in the works and it could be with us pretty soon.

It really seems to me that the 90s are coming back in a very big way.

We’ve been getting all sorts of 90s properties be developed into new things in the 2010s.

We had the Teenage Ninja Mutant Turtles and Power Rangers movies for instance.

Both properties played huge parts in my childhood and we’re now hearing rumours that a new TNMT TV show might be in the works.

This rumour comes courtesy of The Cinema Spot who claims that the show could be coming to CBS All Access in the US.

According to this new report, this upcoming TV show could be a dark spin on the property.

I mean, the show was already pretty dark, yet they might be looking to make it even bleaker.

First off, the show is about turtles who are mutated into anthropomorphic turtle bodybuilders.

They are then raised by an anthropomorphic rat and have to fight a pretty scary dude called Shredder.

It’s all very dark, and it looks like they’re going to make this series ever darker.
