Daniel Craig Reveals He Wanted To Play Superman As A Child, Not James Bond

Daniel Craig revealed in a recent interview that he really wanted to play Superman as a child, not James Bond, which isn’t that surprising.

It was revealed a few weeks ago that the next James Bond movie, No Time To Die, had been delayed due to the Coronavirus.

However, that didn’t stop Craig from doing interviews for the movie beforehand.

During one of these interviews, Craig revealed that he never really wanted to play James Bond as a child.

No, during this interview with Saga Magazine (via Metro), Craig revealed that he really wanted to play Spider-Man or Superman.

People are always saying to me, ‘You must have dreamed of playing James Bond when you were a kid.’ The answer is no. I never did. I dreamed of being all sorts of other things – Superman, Spider-Man, the Invisible Man, even a good old-fashioned cowboy.

I mean, who doesn’t want to play Spider-Man and Superman?

These are the sort of roles that most actors dream to play.

That said, I always dreamed of playing James Bond as a child rather than Superman.

Spider-Man was always a role I was very interested in playing.

Craig did, on the other hand, get to play a cowboy in Cowboys Vs. Aliens.

That said, he might want to forget that film.
