Check Out The First Trailer For The Animated Spider-Man Film Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse

The new trailer for Phil Lord and Chirs Miller’s upcoming animated Spider-Man film, Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse is here. Check it out now!

Sony Pictures just released the first trailer for their animated Spider-Man film, Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse, and it’s definitely worth a watch. The movie was developed by 21 Jump Street and The LEGO Movie directors, Phil Lord and Chris Miller. The film itself was directed by Bob Persichetti, Peter Ramsey and Rodney Rothman who were working off a script fromPhil Lord which was adapted from a story Phil Lord, Miller and Alex Hirsch.

This Spider-Man aminated movie will focus on the Miles Morales version of Spider-Man and Peter Parker, which is a nice twist. We’ve been very used to seeing Parker’s Spidey over the years and I for one am very excited to see what Morales does as the wall-crawler. It also sees the introduction of the Spider-Verse which is a storyline in which all the Spider-Men across all universes finally meet.

Appart from that, not much is known about the film’s plot which has been kept very much under wraps. We do know that it’ll be a comedy, mainly due to Lord and Miller’s involvement. Shameik Moore will voice Morales and he’ll be joined by the likes of Liev Schreiber, Mahershala Ali (who’ll be the voice of Morales’ uncle, Aaron Davis) and Brian Tyree Henry as Morales’ father, Jefferson Davis. Aaron Davis was recently portrayed by Donald Glover in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Glover, incidentally, was a source of inspiration for Miles Morales.

Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse is set for releases on December 14th, 2018. What did you think of the trailer? Let us know in the comments below.
