Cassian Andor Prequel Series On Disney Plus Delayed Due To Script Issues

I’ve been very excited to see the Cassian Andor prequel Star Wars series on Disney Plus.

Ever since I first heard they were going to be making a series about the Rogue One character, I’ve been wondering what it could be about.

Cassian was played by Diego Luna in Rogue One and he was brilliant in the role.

He will be returning as Cassian in the upcoming Disney Plus series.

However, it looks like we might have to wait a bit longer for the Disney Plus Star Wars series.

According to The Geeks Wordwide, the Cassian Andor prequel Star Wars series on Disney Plus has been delayed.

It was reportedly delayed due to script issues, which sounds a bit like what’s happened to the Obi-Wan Kenobi series.

The Kenobi series on Disney Plus is also going through script changes.

However, its star, Ewan McGregor revealed that the show’s release date hadn’t been delayed despite the script rewrites.

It was announced back in November 2018 that Stephen Schiff would be the Cassian Andor’s showrunner and Jared Bush was writing the pilot episode.

However, all went a bit quiet on the Cassian Andor series for a while.

It was then revealed that Rogue One’s screenwriter and reshoot director Tony Gilroy has been brought in to breathe new life into the series.

It’s been reported that he’s writing the show’s new pilot and will direct a few episodes of the show.

The Cassian Andor series will also feature Alan Tudyk returning as his Rogue One character, K2-SO.

As for yet, no premiere date for the show has been set.
