Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 7 Returning With An Hour-Long Episode

I’m going to tell you a secret: Brooklyn Nine-Nine in my favourite show, and I cannot wait to see Season 7, which is going to be released this upcoming February.

I cannot wait to see what Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg) and his buddies of the ninety-ninth police precinct going to get up to in Season 7.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 7 is going to be released on NBC on February 6th, and it’s been revealed that it’s going to be a whole hour long.

That’s the longest episode the show’s ever had, and I’m so looking forward to what’s going to happen in this episode.

According to NBC, Season 7 will also be 13 episodes long, and the new season will be aired during the 8-9pm slot on February 6th.

It’ll then return the following Thursday at 8.30pm for a standard length episode.

We know next to nothing about Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 7’s plot, but it does seem as though most of the stars will be returning.

Melissa Fumero, who plays Amy Santiago, teased her return on Instagram.

Back in July, the actress told her 1.5 million followers that they were filming the season, and she shared a pic of a few of them on set.

This picture also showed some of her fellow Brooklyn Nine-Nine cast members: Terry Crews, Andy Samberg, and Stephanie Beatriz who could all be seen in her black and white picture in which you can see them all suited up in their police bulletproof vests.

Melissa accompanied the picture with a caption that read: “Season 7. #Brooklyn99 #Day1.”

It also seems as if we’re going to see a lot more from her character, Santiago, in Season 7 as the show’s producer, Dan Goor, revealed what fans could expect to see in Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 7 during his appearance at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con.

Speaking at San Diego Comic-Con (via Digital Spy), Dan revealed: “What we can tease is that we’re gonna pick up where we left off with Captain Holt.

“We’re gonna really try to pay off the cliffhanger that we had. We’re excited to explore more of the Jake-Amy dynamics.

“I think we’re gonna bring back a lot of our favourites, who I think are also fan favourites.

“We’re hoping to have a Pimento episode, we’re hoping to have a Pontiac Bandit episode obviously [and] hoping to have Marc Evan Jackson,” he finished.

There is one character who sadly won’t be returning to Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 7, after the corgi who played Cheddar, Stewart, died recently at 13 years of age.

The dog’s owner revealed the news via their Instagram account and said that he passed away relaxing in his favourite place in the sunshine.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 7 will return to NBC on February 7th, 2020, and you can stream seasons 1 to 5 on Netflix right now.
