Ant-Man 3 Is Going Ahead With Payton Reed Back To Direct

Ant-Man And The Wasp was good fun at the cinema, but no one will say it really broke the mould as far as Marvel movies are concerned, that said, they’re still going to make Ant-Man 3.

So far, the franchise has been good fun, but I still wish we could have seen what Edgar Wright’s vision for the first movie was. I was really looking forward to that one.

But, Marvel got Payton Reed to take Wright’s place, and the movies have been fun, but nothing specular.

However, we’ve just learnt via The Hollywood Reporter that Marvel Studios is going to make Ant-Man 3 and that it’ll be directed by Reed.

Paul Rudd should be returning as Scott Lang, which would make it his fifth time playing the Marvel Comics character.

There are no details on the plot as of yet, but I’ll let you know as soon as anything changes on that front.

They haven’t released an official date yet, but according to The Hollywood Reporter’s sources, Marel Studios wants the film to start shooting in 2020, which the aim to have the film released in 2022.

Their sources also revealed that Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness andThor: Love and Thunder will shoot before Ant-Man 3.

There wasn’t any confirmation on whether Ant-Man’s friends in Evangeline Lilly’s The Wasp and Michael Douglas’ original Ant-Man will be returning for the third movie.

I’m pretty sure they’ll all come back for this one, and we’ll let you know as soon as anything changes.
