Disney Is Reportedly In Talks To Make An Alita: Battle Angel Sequel For Disney Plus

It’s being suggested that Disney might be working on an Alita: Battle Angel sequel and it might end up being released on Disney Plus.

This rumour comes from We Got This Covered’s sources who claim that Disney is seriously considering making another Alita: Battle Angel movie.

Think back to how the first movie ended.

It concluded very much on a cliffhanger and it does seem like 20th Century Fox was thinking of making another movie in this world.

The film’s director, Robert Rodriguez has made it very clear that he would love to make another movie.

However, the first film didn’t do all that well at the box office and it was expensive to make.

Yet, it sounds like Disney sees potential in this Alita: Battle Angel franchise.

Honestly, if any movie studio were to make an Alita: Battle Angel movie and make it successful, it would be Disney.

They’ve already announced that they’re making a Percy Jackson series for Disney Plus.

They might end up doing something similar with Alita: Battle Angel.

It’s very possible that Disney is thinking of making a series set in the world which was set up in the first movie.

That would make so much sense to me because the movie’s based on a series of comic books.

This means they might be able to cover more of the source material in a series rather than another movie.
