Transformers: The Last Knight And The Mummy Have The Most Nominations At 2018’s Razzie Awards

The nominees for this year’s Razzie Awards have been announced and surprise, surprise, Transformers: The Last Knight is leading the charge with The Mummy following closely behind.

The nominees for this year’s Razzie Awards are in and 2017 certainly had some strong contenders to choose from. Films like Michael Bay’s Transformers: The Last Knight and the God-awful Baywatch movie come to mind but there are others that deserve to be thrown into the mix. The Emoji Movie, Fifty Shades Darker and The Mummy all deserve to be in the running when it comes to the race to be crowned the worst movie of 2017.

2017 was a genuinely good year for movies. We selected 20 great ones in our 20 favourite movies of 2017 list, but now it’s time to take a look back at some of the year’s real stinkers and thankfully we have the Razzies, also knowns as the Golden Raspberry awards, for that.

While The Book of Henry, The Snowman, and The Dark Tower were surprisingly snubbed, Darren Aronofsky’s mother! received a few nominations which I feel to be slightly unfair on that film’s behalf.

You can check out the full list of this year’s Razzie nominees below. Just as a side note, Bay’s Transformers: The Last Knight has more nominations than any other film this year with a grand total of 8, although Tom Cruise’s The Mummy isn’t too far behind with 7.
