Stranger Things Season 4 Confirmed By Netflix And The Duffer Brothers

Yes, people! It’s officially official. Stranger Things season 4 is happening!

Season 3 of Netflix’s hit show ended on a bit of a cliffhanger which had people desperate to know whether a fourth season was in the work or not and it was all a bit silent on that front – until now, that is!

Netflix has just revealed that they will be working on a fourth season with the creators of the show, The Duffer Brothers, and I couldn’t be happier.

“The Duffer Brothers have captivated viewers around the world with Stranger Things and we’re thrilled to expand our relationship with them to bring their vivid imaginations to other film and series projects our members will love,” said Ted Sarandos, Chief Content Officer, Netflix.

“We can’t wait to see what The Duffer Brothers have in store when they step outside the world of The Upside Down.”

“We are absolutely thrilled to continue our relationship with Netflix. Ted Sarandos, Cindy Holland, Brian Wright, and Matt Thunell took a huge chance on us and our show — and forever changed our lives.

“From our first pitch meeting to the release of Stranger Things 3, the entire team at Netflix has been nothing short of sensational, providing us with the kind of support, guidance, and creative freedom we always dreamed about. We can’t wait to tell many more stories together — beginning, of course, with a return trip to Hawkins!”

This is great news for all us Stranger Things fans, and the very end of that statement seems to suggest that season 4 won’t be the last.

Fingers crossed I’m right on that one, because season 3 really was a step in the right direction.

It was a damn sight better than season 2, and I’d say it was on par with the very first season of the show.
