Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker’s Behind-The-Scenes Set Video Teases An Emotion-Packed Finale

Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker isn’t far away now and there’s been a new behind-the-scenes video which teases an emotion-packed finale to this new trilogy.

J.J. Abrams is currently hard at work putting the finishing touch on Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker – or at least, I hope he is.

Vanity Fair recently published a massive article on his upcoming Star Wars film which will wrap up this new trilogy which he started with The Force Awakens.

The last film to come out in this trilogy was Star Wars: The Last Jedi and that was met with a mixed response. It tended to perform very well with critics, but a very vocal section of the fans was upset with the way the film went.

These fans felt the answers given for the mysteries left over from The Force Awakens were underwhelming and they didn’t like the way characters such as Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) and Supreme Leader Snoke (Andy Serkis) were addressed.

Personally, I loved the film and I reckon that in a few years time it’ll be seen as one of the best films ever made in the saga. But until then, we have The Rise Of Skywalker to look forward to, and it seems to have a bit of a Return Of The Jedi vibe to it.

A new behind-the-scenes video has just been released courtesy of Vanity Fair, and even though it talks most about Star Wars’ relationship with legendary photographer, Annie Leibovitz.

However, there were also some pretty incredible shots which might end up featuring in the movie, and it certainly seems like this film will be packed full of action and emotion.

Kathleen Kennedy also makes an appearance in the video and she’s already revealed that they have commissioned a script for a The Old Republic movie which could end up being another trilogy.

Meanwhile, the Vanity Fair article also featured Leibovitz’s images and one of them shows Rey (Daisy Ridley) and Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) locked in what looks to be an intense lightsaber battle surrounded by water.

It would make an incredibly cool scene if it were to make it into the final cut of the movie. Let’s hope it does.
