James Gunn isn’t one to shy away from giving his fans what they want, and now he’s treated us to some stills and set photos from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Check them out in the slider above.
A lot of people are very excited to see what James Gunn has in store for us with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Many fans were pleading with the director to show us a little teaser for the sequel to his 2014 surprise hit, Guardians of the Galaxy, and he duly delivered. The teaser he gave us was short, but oh so sweet. I know you should never judge a film by its trailer, but come on guys, it looks pretty darn good. Now James Gunn posted some stills and set photos from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 on his Facebook page (originally published on USA Today).
Guardians of the Galaxy is hands down my favourite Marvel movie to date. I know a lot of people will scoff at that statement, but I just found it to be much more compelling than any of their other superhero movies. I would also say that Doctor Strange is my second favourite, which will probably send many Marvel fans up the wall. But wouldn’t it be wonderful if James Gunn’s sequel surpasses both those films and universally becomes everybody’s favourite Marvel movie? Although, Taika Waititi’s Thor: Ragnarok and Jon Watt’s Spider-Man: Homecoming might offer some stiff competition. 2017’s certainly looking like a good year for comic book movie fans. Fingers crossed it delivers.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will be in UK cinemas on April 28th, 2017. Are you as excited to see it as I am?
